You've Done a Good Thing!

A woman holds a linen boule bag filled with homemade pretzels and rolls. The text reads "Good for your bread. Good for the planet. Good for you."

By shopping lot8, you have supported a local maker and embraced a low-waste lifestyle.

I reduce my environmental impact at every stage through the process of making by ensuring that:

🌱 natural fabrics are used because they are compostable at the end of their lives

🌱 the fabrics are pre-washed with biodegradable natural laundry detergent then air-dryed

🌱 the cords for the bread bags are made in Canada from recycled cotton cord

🌱 most of the products are designed to take the place of plastic and encourage re-use

🌱 fabric remnants are used in products as filling (such as the natural cat toys) or donated to other makers

🌱 byproducts such as crushed walnut shell is given a new life (as filling for boo boo bags, eye pillows and hot/cold therapy wraps) rather than being sent to landfill

🌱 second chance fabrics (i.e. deadstock fabrics) are used for eye glass cases and bunting flags rather than sent to landfill

🌱 after you've placed your order, the products are shipped in up-cycled mailers

🌱 products are delivered by foot or bike whenever possible

And finally, a portion of all sales are donated to The United Way Perth Huron to help solve #unignorable issues.
