NEW OEKO-Tex LINEN

When my source for linen dried up, I kind of freaked out. But you know what they say about one door closing and another one opening.

After extensive research, I found the most beautiful natural linen. Because it is OEKO-Tex Certified, it is free from harmful chemicals, dyes and finishes.

This fabric, like most others, includes the working selvage, a thin line at the edge of the fabric, often a lighter colour than the finished weave. I prefer include the selvage in my designs because it points to it's origins...this is where the fibres have been attached to the loom. I also keep it attached because cutting it means more textile waste.
