Much Nicer than UsingPlastic Bags

These bags are so stylish and versatile - the 3-pack contains bags of different sizes in order to accommodate loaves of different shapes/sizes whether they be a boule, loaf/batard or a baguette. These are also better than plastic bags/airtight bins for keeping the crust crispy while helping to slow down the staling of the crumb because of the more open weave or nature of the fabric.

Great way to keep your bread!

We love these bags! They keep my sourdough breads, which I have been baking since long before the pandemic, beautifully fresh. We like the advice to cut a loaf from the middle, but sometimes find we make a messy cut. (I have ordered a better knife.) It helps if we place a small beeswax wrap against the cut edge before placing the loaf in the bag.
Apart from the fact that the bread stays fresh, these linen bags look great. They are beautifully made in Stratford, so the carbon footprint from the maker to our house in the Niagara Region is pretty small.
I'm thinking these will make great Christmas gifts for baking friends and family! Thank you!
