Inspired by my resourceful grandma, this reversible bowl cover replaces foil and cling wrap for an eco-friendly way to store food. Handmade in Stratford ON, Canada from unbleached cotton muslin on one side, and linen on the other, you can choose which face to show the world. Perfect for allowing bread to rise, dining al fresco, or simply storing leftovers, this bowl cover will add beauty to your table for years to come. One size fits bowls ranging in diameter from 7 1/2"- 11”.

Instructions for use when rising bread and pizza dough: Dampen the bowl cover first before covering your rising bread or pizza dough. Pizza dough may also benefit from a dash of olive oil spread onto the surface of the dough and enough head room in the bowl so that it won't touch the bowl cover as it rises.

To launder, pre-treat stains then add to a cold water wash without fabric softener. Air dry. Iron using linen setting if desired.

The lot8 Fabric Philosophy: Good for You, Kind to Momma Earth

At lot8, we don't just make goods—we make sure every single thread has a purpose. Here is how we keep things beautiful, functional, and zero-waste from the cutting table to your home:

  • 100% Natural or Upcycled: We strictly source all-natural textiles or give gorgeous second-chance fabrics a new life.
  • Breathe Easy, Wash Clean: Natural fibers mean ultimate breathability for your bread, your produce, and your skin. Plus, you can love laundry day again knowing zero synthetic microplastics are escaping into our waterways.
  • Landfill? Never Heard of It: Fabric remnants never find a home in the trash. We save the selvage edges and integrate them right back into our designs, transforming would-be waste into beautiful, functional features.
  • Tiny Scraps, Big Purpose: Even our smallest, microscopic clippings get a promotion. They are either packed tightly as cozy stuffing for our signature cat toys or bundled up and donated to local makers who can use them for their own magic.

No waste. No plastic. Just beautifully handmade goods crafted with real intent right here in Stratford, Ontario.
